We did buses, planes, boats, cars, feet (with double buggy) and trains. Buses were at once the best and the worst bits - really variable around the continent. Great in Brazil, OK in Argentina, treacherous in Bolivia and Peru, ... We put the whole experience out on www.oursouthamericablog.com (not a commercial site).

Re: A Story of Singapore Generosity & Friendliness

We've just returned from Singapore and found everyone very friendly. Often, we don't think of colors indigenous to a certain geographical location. As a lifelong New Englander, it's hard to gain that perspective as the colors are part of every day life. You are right, though, there is a certain set of colors to an area like Boston that adds to its greatness. I guess it's a "grass is always greener on the other side scenario" as I know when we visit Upstate New York, it is the colors that resonate so strongly. Yet, we have our own unique colors right in our backyards! Nice way to finish the story, too, that ultimately our own passions, productivity and creativity create the evolving canvas of life. Great post!

Re: Bali Reflections: Nowhere Less Than Paradise!

We've just got back from Java and Bali.
